The competitors in the Wallasey Athletic Club’s Christmas Handicap held last Saturday at Leasowe enjoyed a friendly run in good conditions. The handicapping was carried out extremely well by Ray Woolley and John Lynch, the first ten runners in the over 16’s race being very close to each other.

Wallasey A.C. members experienced the biting cold and deep snow to the full when they travelled to Sedgefield Park racecourse, Darlington for the Northern Counties Cross-Country Championships. The conditions had a remarkable effect on form and some suprising results were recorded.
