Wallasey runner wins district championship The first of the Liverpool & District Cross-Country Championships, held last Saturday produced the some unexpected results. The course was over slightly undulating parkland at Wavertree Playground. Four championships were held for boys, youths, juniors and seniors.

Wallasey A.C. in close match with Port Sunlight Over a snowbound course at Port Sunlight, Wallasey A.C. enjoyed a closely contested match with the Port Sunlight club. Lack of numbers on both side, due to the weather, robbed the fixture of much of much of its interest, but to those hardier members who braved the elements the event was thoroughly enjoyable.

Wallasey athletes successes in Lever trophy events Wallasey A.C. competed in the Lever Trophy at Port Sunlight Oval last Saturday with the following individual results: - Carl Gee won the discus event with a throw of 120 ft. 1 in.; and Ray Owen was placed third with 106 ft. 7 ins.
