Today's Wallasey's marathon runners, F. K. Ledward, R. Scammell and J. Lynch are due to run in the Liverpool marathon. The race starts at 2-15 p.m. from St. George's Hall and finishes at Liverpool's Football Ground.
It would be very encouraging if some club members could come along to give their support and advice to the three runners.
F. Ledward and R. Scammell have both competed in this race before, but it is the first attempt for J. Lynch, It is from John, however, that we expect great things, as he has been well to the fore in all his long-distance races this year.
All the events In the club championships have now been completed and the results are as follows: -
