An enthusiastic initial meeting was held on Tuesday evening at the New Brighton Tower Grounds. Many old members turned out for the first practice runs, thus assuring a good start for the season.
Thanks to the courtesy of the New Brighton Tower authorities, the club will be able to hold fortnightly meetings every alternate Tuesday during the summer. More members are still required, and it is a great pity that more young men do not avail themselves of the facilities that the club offers them, seeing that the track they run on is undoubtedly the finest in the North of England. Anybody wishing to join the club should make enquiries to the hon. secretary, Mr. H. S. Heighley, at 66 Grove-road, Wallasey.
