Today the road handicap over 3¼ miles is being held. All club members are entitled to enter for this event, and a good handicap is usually given. Time for 1st man off is 3-15 p.m.
The track at Lingham Park is ready for use and is now in a reasonably good state for running. Members taking advantage of this must see the park keeper and pay a fee of sixpence before commencing training. The park is open seven days a week. The training card system is discontinued.
The ladies' section have completed a successful netball season and have had victories in every match. They are now engaged in preliminary training for the track season. Anyone wishing to join the ladies' section should write to Miss J. Massey, 200, Seaview Road, or men to R.F. Hubbard. 44, Tollemache Street, Wallasey.
