A dozen members of the club visited Sefton Harriers at the headquarters in West Derby, and in spite of driving snow, were able to enjoy a short run of five miles.
Because of the bad weather, it was decided to make this a friendly fixture, and no scores were taken. It is probable that this form of sport is the only one not affected by the weather, and those who are really keen can stick to a strict training schedule throughout the winter.
This Saturday, the club entertain Wirral A.C. at their headquarters in Leasowe Road. It is hoped that all members will turn out to meet the most immediate rivals.
