The thirtieth annual meeting of Wallasey Athletic Club was held on Wednesday of last week at Wallasey Village.
Mr. A. G. Nicholson, the Club's President, was in the chair and four Vice-presidents were present .
The Hon. Secretary presented a report of the much increased activities of the Club, and the Hon. Treasurer revealed that, although through strenuous efforts the income was the highest ever recorded in the history of the Club, the expenditure, despite rigid economies, was so great that a credit balance of only a few shillings remained.
Confidence in the officers was shown by the re-election of R. G. Hyde, hon. secretary, J. L. Davis, hon. treasurer, and W. R. Richardson, captain. J. Edwards is assistant secretary and sub-captain, junior captain is N. Marples, and youth's R. Yeoman.
The Club will be specially glad to hear from pre-War and immediate post-War members, and general enquiries will be welcomed by R. G. Hyde, hon. sec., 14, Cromer Drive, and J. Edwards, 6, Ferndale Avenue (Phone Wallasey 4739).
