There was a splendid turn-out for the training run held last Saturday from Leasowe-road headquarters. A large pack comprising senior and junior runners covered a short five miles course at a good pace.
The pack kept well together until two miles from home, when T. B. Calveley, increasing the pace, led the way in with F. G. Ambrose 2nd and K. Baird 3rd.
A smaller contingent of seniors ran the full nine miles at an easy jog-trot, R. Young and L. Bell being the first two to finish.

The senior team is strengthened by the inclusion of H. C. Binns, who returns to competitive racing after a long absence.
The following teams will represent the club :- .
