The opening of Wallasey Harriers' new headquarters, the Pavilion, Harrison Park, was marked by a large muster, 60 Sefton men and 20 of the home club turning out for an eight miles run.
Two packs were formed, and a most enjoyable outing was indulged in, the return home being by way of the shore. No racing took place, but several novices showed up well, noticeably Webster, Nichol and Noris, all of Wallasey H.
To-day's fixture is from home headquarters against Knotty Ash Harrier's and the powerful Wirral A.C., and all old and prospective members are requested to muster by 3 p.m.
