Sir, - I notice that in your last issue you give only one member of Wallasey H. & A.C. as having joined His Majesty's Forces.
I am glad to say that practically our entire active membership has enlisted, only those few who are absolutely unable to go, remaining. The following, though not quite complete, is a pretty comprehensive list: - R. McDonough, Irish Guards (at the front); H. N. Cox, 2nd R.A.M.C.; J. M. Duguid, Liverpool Scottish; S. J. Edgar, Liverpool Scottish; J. P. Ewers, 6th Liverpool; J. J. Ewers, R.F.A.; J. Forty, Liverpool "Pals"; M. Ferguson, 6th Liverpool; H. C. Groom, Liverpool. "Pals"; T. M. Hughes. Liverpool Scottish; W. R. Hughes, Liverpool Scottish; S. Hodson, Liverpool Scottish; C. J. Howson, 6th Liverpool; A. P. Hunt, R.N.R.; R. Jones, 5th Liverpool; H. Ladyman, 5th Liverpool; H. J. Lyon, 5th S. Lancs.; R. J. Lowes, Liverpool Scottish; G. Lowes, 6th Liverpool; J. S. Lowes, Denbighshire Hussars; H. Milligan, A.S.C.; A. McMaster, 6th Liverpool; J. McGuire, 6th Liverpool; J. Marsden, 6th Liverpool; C. Russell, Liverpool "Pals"; A. G. Scoins, 6th Liverpool; H. Simpson, 4th Cheshires; T. Scott Liverpool "Pals"; H. Spencer, 1st R.A.M.C.; J. Symons, Liverpool Scottish; H. M. Terry, 6th. Liverpool; A. L. Turner, Denbighshire Hussars; C. Woodroffe, Liverpool "Pals."
I think, considering the fact that our active membership is only about 40, we may claim to have done our part, and I know that if those left behind were only able they would be away to-morrow. - Yours truly,
Peter Scott. Hon. Sec.
