A muster of 14 runners had a most enjoyable time last Saturday over the usual course of about, six miles.
The members are gradually getting themselves into something like running condition, as the course was done in about 15 minutes less time than the last few weeks. Some of the new members are showing great promise, J. Fenton and T. Firth particularly so. Today a social run takes place with the Wallasey Harriers at West Kirby, followed by a tea and smoking concert, when a most enjoyable day's sport is assured. All members will meet at Seacombe Station at 2.40.
Next Saturday the five-mile handicap from the Plough Inn takes place; start 3.15 prompt.
