Homecroft paid a visit to the headquarters of the Liverpool Oddfellows Harriers last Saturday, but as the home club had only a muster of three as against the visitor's 14, all idea of a race was abandoned, and the pack went for an enjoyable spin of about four miles in the neighbourhood of Sefton Park.
Today Homecroft are introducing a new feature in the shape of a half-mile handicap on the Tower Grounds track. Three prizes are offered as usual, and the race takes place during the interval of the football match. It is therefore desirable that members be in attendance not later than 2.45. Production of the club memberships card will gain entrance to the ground.
