Teams from Cheshire, Greater Manchester, Lancashire and Merseyside took part in the North West Road Relays on Saturday 15th September. Marbury Park in Northwich was the venue for the race. 5.4k legs were required to be completed by each of the runners. Greg Jones set off first and brought the club back in 37th place, second runner was Richard Webster who pulled back an excellent 4 places. Third runner was Tony Barbat who gained another place. John Thelwell ran the anchor leg and gained 5 more places to leave Wallasey A.C. in 27th place.
