Tony Barbat and Dave McAlister competed in the Litherland Open Track Meeting hosted by Southport and Waterloo A.C. Tony did the mile in 5:26.4 and 800m in 2.32.6 (2nd) and Dave did the 100m in 16.3, long jump 3.66m (2nd) and high jump 1.0m (3rd).
