Having successfully concluded the track season in this district, many local athletes now give their attention to the Cross-Country season, and the Wallasey Athletic Club are pleased to announce that they have obtained the use of premises for the Cross-Country.
Their new premises are situated on the right hand side of Leasowe Road, approximately 20 yards past Wallasey Village Station, travelling towards Moreton. A board bearing the letters W. A. C. will be placed outside the premises to guide old and new members to this new domain.
The first run is to be held on Saturday next the 21st September, 1946, at 3 p.m. H.Q. open from 2 p.m., when it is hoped all members will turn out and give a rousing good send-off to what prominent to be a very interesting season. The H.Q. will also be open on Tuesday evenings from 8 p.m. for training purposes.
