Pictured after her success in the 400 metres (senior girls) race at the Cheshire Schools Annual Athletic Championships is Julie Halfpenny a pupil at Oldershaw Grammar School.
Julie came second in the race, which was held at the Oval Sports Centre, Bebington recently. First place was taken by P. Lloyd (Ellesmere Port Grammar School) and third by S. Addison (Lymm Grammar School).
