Wallasey finished 15 points behind the Wirral A.C. on Saturday after a 5½ mile cross-country run over the most difficult ground the club has yet encountered. W. Richardson (captain), N. Marples, S. K. Westmore, were absent from the Wallasey team whereas Wirral were at full strength and had with them the national champion, Emery.

Wirral A.C.: 1, Emery; 2, Davey; 4, Calveley; 6, Kay; 9, Jones; 11, Phillips. Total 33 points.
Wallasey: 3, Edwards; 5, Davey; 7, Grisedale; 8, Andrew; 10, Arkless; 14, Ledward. Total 47 points.
Liverpool Boundary: 17, Davenport; 20, Edwards; 24, O'Neill; 27, Tunstall; 28, Hinds; 29, Gray. Total 145 points.
To-day, the club novice championship cancelled a fortnight ago, will be re-run over a 5½ mile course starting from the Leasowe Road headquarters at 3.30.
