This year's Chester Half Marathon ladies team prize was won by Wallasey A.C. ladies.
The team is made up of Claire Walton (left) who finished 2nd lady in a personal best time of 1 hour 27 mins, Tricia Jones (right) who came second in her age group (50+) finishing in a time of 1 hour 36 mins, and Sharon Lamont (centre) who completed the 13.1 mile course in 1 hour 39, a personal best for her. The race was run on May 17th from the Roodee race course.
The ladies team were delighted to have picked up first prize. The ladies team at Wallasey A.C. is going from strength to strength and is always happy to welcome new members. Anyone wishing to join should visit come along to Harrison Hall on a Tuesday or Thursday at 6.30pm.
