Dave Wilson from Wallasey Athletic Club won yet again on the roads of Farndon, near Chester - recording a time of 40 mins. 20 secs. For 8¼ miles, to win the annual Farndon Road Race.
He also set a new course record, beating the old record by 2½ minutes - a great achievement, having finished second in the GRE 10,000 metres track race the day before.
