Today is the Cheshire Road Relay Championships, and three Wallasey AC teams will be competing; two senior and a boys.
The Senior 'A' team with two County representatives running looks sufficiently strong to push neighbours and rivals Wirral AC for the premier place, providing some injury problems clear up.
The youths will be running in the Wirral Schools Championships and four runners should be capable of places in the first ten.
