Miss Annette Jones, only daughter of Mr. and . Mrs. A. Jones, of Hillside Road, Wallasey, was married on October 21st at St. John's Church, by the Rev. J. P. Edwardson, to Mr. Brian Woolford, only son of Mr. and Mrs. F. A. Woolford, of Annesley Road, Wallasey.
The bridegroom is a member of Wallasey Athletic Club.
Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a full-length gown of white crepe trimmed with guipure lace. Her three-quarter length veil was secured by a small cap of white roses, and she carried a bouquet of white carnations and lemon roses.
The bridesmaids, Miss Pat Pickering and Miss Beryl Fletcher, wore full-length dresses of turquoise and white nylon organza trimmed with lace. They carried bouquets of white carnations.
Mr. John Wright was the best man and the stewards were Mr. John Irvine, Mr. Lionel Sainsbury and Mr. Steven Kipps.
Following a reception held at the Nelson Hotel, Grove Road, for 65 guests, the couple left for their honeymoon in Majorca, the bride travelling in a cream suit, with a pink and turquoise blouse, pink hat and matching accessories.
