This Saturday afternoon, over 5 mile course which includes Bidston Hill, Wallasey Athletic Club are holding their Club Novice Championship for those runners who have not previously been placed in a race at a mile or over since the age of 16. Any club member under that age is eligible to compete. Bob McCaig, Bill Wright, Ted Bollard, and Youths' Captain, John Hawkesley, are all expected to be well to the fore in this race for the Wright Challenge Cup.
