On Leasowe Road last Saturday afternoon, Wallasey Athletic Club held their Consolation Road Handicap over 3½ miles. Awards were won by Ramsey Hewson, first man home, and Tony Dickinson, second, whilst Tony's younger brother, Denis, returned the fastest time for the course - 19 mins. 40 secs.
This Saturday, Wallasey's 8 men team in the Sefton Park Road Relay Race will be picked from Edwards, D. Dickinson, Foster, Dinsdale, A. Dickinson, Kelly, Evans, R. Johnston, Rimmer, Bollard, McCaig and Hewson.
