The annual general meeting will he held next Monday at Harrison Drive Café, Wallasey.
The branch was originally the Wallasey Harriers & Athletic Club, winners of the Liverpool & District C.C. Association Trophy in 1913-14 season, and, along with other local athletic clubs formed the club of the present title three seasons ago. The club has for the past three seasons held the Sports meeting in connection with the Wallasey Gala at Central Park, and in addition, has this season held weekly meetings on Wednesday evenings at New Brighton Tower Grounds. They have a splendidly equipped gymnasium at the club headquarters, 6a, Lord-street, Liverpool, with experienced instructors, and they cater specially for amateur boxers and wrestlers.
The branch commences the winter season the first Saturday in October, having run from splendid quarters (Cricket Pavilion, Harrison Park, Wallasey) for the past three seasons, and an invitation is given to anyone wishing to try this sport to come along and join The hon. secretary is Mr. S. G. Edgar, 68, Littledale-road, Egremont.
