The Wallasey Branch of the Hercules Athletic Club opened the season with a 6 miles run from headquarters, Pavilion, Harrison Park, on Saturday last.
Several new members showed up well, particularly Pinnington and Richards, who will go far towards building the team to its pre-war strength. To-day a combined run of the club takes place from Bebington show grounds at 3.15 p.m. Members meet Liverpool Town Hall, 2.15 p.m., and proceed from James Street to Rock Ferry Station.
To-day's club-run is from headquarters, 3.30 p.m. Prospective members please communicate with Hon. Sec., S.G. Edgar, 68, Littledale-road, Wallasey.
