Wallasey v. West Cheshire

The Wallasey Club received a visit from West Cheshire Harriers on Saturday at their headquarters, Oarside Farm.

A large pack of nearly 50, of whom 15 were members of Wallasey, turned out for a seven mile spin across Leasowe fields, round the castle, and back by the shore to Harrison-drive and finishing at the bottom of Mount Pleasant-road. H. Seed (West Cheshire) arrived home first, with H. Hanmer (Wallasey) close on his heels, the rest following in quick succession.

Next Saturday, Wallasey will encounter Homecroft in an inter-club run from headquarters in Manor-road. This being the first of the "local derbies," some good running may be anticipated.

Those who wish to become members of the Wallasey Harriers are requested to communicate with the Hon. Secretary, Mr. R. Young, 19, Devonshire-road, Liscard.
