A fair muster of the above had a four miles spin on Saturday last.
Gregson and Hudson, who were out for the first time, and T. J. Brookes ran very well, and with judicious care should develop a good turn of speed. The mile race down Seabank-road resulted as follows:- 1 W. S. Brookes, 2 T. J. Brookes, 3 Gregson, 4 S. L. Brookes, 5 E. Lawton, 6 C. Hudson. The club hope to run with the Liverpool Gymnasium Harriers to-day from Oarside Farm, Mount Pleasant-road, starting about 3.45 p.m.
