The above club had the Protestant Reformers' Harriers as visitors last Saturday and a pack of 34, twenty-five of which were Reformers and nine homesters, was paced by A. Turner and W. S. Brookes cross-country to Wallasey, and thence on to Harrison Drive to the shore, where the heavy going told its tale on some of the younger runners.
The home team were without the services of some of their best "men," and they sustained a rather heavy defeat. Appended is the result at the termination of the break:-
Reformers. Homecroft.
