The Wirral Multi Terrain series for 2016 began at Royden Park, over 370 runners finished the 2 lap course. Sallie Holt had a strong run finishing third lady and leading the ladies team home to fourth place with Zoe Pearse (19th) and Vicky Kehoe (21st) also counting. The men finished in second place with Pete Bird highest position of 8th, Greg Jones (12th), Phil Walton (13th), Karl Pickstock (17th) and Bryan Stevenson (20th) counting.
