A sunny evening greeted several runners from Wallasey for the Birkenhead Park 5 mile race. Mike Stanley completed the course in 26:27 for 10th place, other finishers were John Cottrell (29:50), Pete Lonsdale (36:28), Nicci Davies (36:44).
