Three runners and 9 supporters from Wallasey made the trip to Spain for the Barcelona Marathon. In hotter than expected conditions all three runners finished the race. Personal bests were achieved by Tony Barbat (3:19) and Mike Griffiths (4:01). Les Pullin also completed the course in (4:21). On a fabulous course the support from fellow runners and the crowd was tremendous, but the biggest spur was the superb support from the club members and their families.
