Over 1800 runners took part in the Shell Chester Half Marathon and ten Wallasey runners were amongst them. The ladies team came in an excellent 5th thanks to Ann Taylor-Kilbane, Nicky Rimmer and Sue Nunn also completing the course were Jane Vick and Lisa Carney. Mark Beckett, Colin Palmer and Arthur Wilson had good runs, Mark returned in 01:24:47 for 50th, Colin in 01:25:25 for 53rd and Arthur 01:31:08 for 145th.
