4 runners from Wallasey A.C. competed in the Conway Half Marathon. The race which is in its second year attracted a field of nearly 2,000 runners and started and finished at Conway Castle. Claire Walton got back to winning ways taking the ladies race in 01:23:39 and 16th overall. Sallie Holt and Nick Holt ran well and finished in 01:39 and 01:45 respectively (both personal bests). Sallie said "It was a very cold but dry day with only a slight breeze which was considerably lucky given the coastal route and the 2.5 mile climb up and around the Great Orme. Stunning views though and very enjoyable". Lisa Carney also performed admirably, crossing the line in 01:52.
