Tony Barbat and Joe Johnson travelled to Preston for a 10 mile race. The route consisted of 2 x 5 mile laps on flat roads and tarmac paths. Perfect conditions of 7°, sunshine and no wind enabled some fast times to be achieved. Tony completed the course in 58:45 (13th) for a personal best and his first time under the hour. Joe Johnson crossed the line in 01:00:11 for 26th place.
