7 runners from Wallasey competed in the Urenco Birkenhead Park 5 Mile race. First home was Tony Barbat who completed the course in 28:58 for 13th place overall and first in the V50 age category. John Armstrong was next home in 30:44 (28th), closely followed by Matt Williams in 31:12 (36th). Nicci Davies flew the flag for the ladies returning home in 41:31.
