Seven Wallasey athletes entered the Nantwich Tri, the largest pool based triathlon in the North West. The race which consists of a m swim, km bike and a 5k run was completed first by club captain Dave Walton in 01:13 who won his age category, a great comeback from a broken leg. Sallie Holt and Jane Vick both completed their first triathlon. Sallie had a fine debut and was 15th lady in a field of over 200. Anne Taylor-Kilbane was unlucky, picking up a puncture on a pothole preventing her from finishing the race.
