Over 2100 runners completed the Shell Chester Half Marathon on Sunday. Claire Walton was the first Wallasey athlete home in an excellent 5th place, Claire completed the course in 01:27:23. Phil Bird was right behind her, running well only 3 weeks after the London Marathon. Pete Ashton had an impressive run knocking a huge 8 minutes off his previous best.
