Over 1300 ladies competed in the Liverpool Women's 10K and 2 of them wore the red of Wallasey Athletic Club. Sharon Lamont had a strong run coming home in 35th place and 3rd in her age category, Sharon finished the course on a warm day in 45:55. Alison Engle knocked a minute and a half off her personal best coming home in 47:56. Also running well was Nicci Davies who returned a 49:48. Vicky Kehoe completed the race in 52 minutes after a long time out with injury.
