Sun and a strong wind greeted the 459 runners at Waterloo 15k on Bank Holiday Monday. First Wallasey runner home was Elwyn Jones in 1hr 29mins and 6 seconds (377th). Elwyn said " It might have been quicker but I did my trick of tripping and falling just to make it a little harder. The terrain was quite difficult with many potholes."
