A warm day greeted the Wallasey A.C. members participating in the Virgin London Marathon. Phil Wilkinson and Lisa Carney making their marathon debuts ran admirably, completing the course in 04:01 and 04:23 respectively. Phil Bird (03:55), Rachel Saunders (04:12) and Mike Griffiths (04:16) also had solid runs.
