The Liverpool Half Marathon was run in the sunshine on Sunday, a fresh breeze did slow the runners though this did not deter the Wallasey A.C. runners who returned some good times. Greg Jones was first home in 38th position with a time of 01:20:49. Claire Walton finished an excellent 11th lady in 01:27:10. Sharon Lamont was next home taking a remarkable 7 minutes off her time from 2009. Newcomer to the club Pete Ashton did well, completing the course 13.1 mile course in 01:48. Neil Vick dipped under 2 hours despite a recent illness. Over 4,400 runners completed the race.
