Two Wallasey A.C. ladies made the trip to midWales in preparation for the London Marathon. Rachel Saunders and Lisa Carney completed the Rhayader 20 mile Round the Lakes race in 3 hours and 21 minutes. The scenic route around the Elan Valley has its fair share of hills and both competitors described the course as 'tough'. 395 runners completed the course and the ladies can be pleased with their efforts.
