4 Wallasey athletes entered the 1 mile at the Litherland Open Track Meeting. Connor McArdle had a superb run returning 4:46.9 for second place. Tony Barbat completed the four laps in 5:31.1 , Andy Rogerson in 6:01.5 and Derek McArdle, proudly sporting the number 1, did 6:07.7. Tony also completed the 800m in 2:29.2 and Dave and his brother Keith competed in the long jump and shot putt.
