7 runners from Wallasey competed in the Urenco Birkenhead Park races. Two of the younger members of the club ran in the year 7 and 8 boys and girls 2.6km race and they both did very well, Connor Pullin finished in 10:15 for 7th place and 2nd in his category and Georgia Engle was 19th in 16:33 and first in her category. In the 5 mile race Greg Jones crossed the line in 28:26 for 14th, not far behind was Tony Barbat in 28:51 (17th), Joe Johnson 29:06 (20th) and John Armstrong 30:04 (30th). Nicci Davies was the sole lady runner posting a 41:22 for 21st lady.
