Claire Walton won the Tahoe Rim Trail 100 mile ultra race in Carson City, Nevada which included 9100 metres of climbing. The Tahoe Rim Trail Endurance Run took place on high elevation alpine and sub-alpine forest trails and dirt roads in the Carson Spur of the Sierra Nevada Mountains. The event is located on the northeast side of Lake Tahoe. Claire completed the course in 21 hours 46 minutes. Claire said "Most beautiful run I've ever done. Everything hurts...". Well done Claire!
