2 Wallasey athletes entered the 1 mile at the Litherland Open Track Meeting hosted by Southport and Waterloo A.C. Tony Barbat completed the four laps in 5:34.1 for second place and Dave McAlister was third in 6:35.0. Tony also completed the 800m in 02:33.4 and Dave did the 100m in 15.7.
