Wallasey AC runners had 8 runners in the Virgin London Marathon. On a glorious day the runners excelled themselves with several personal bests. Jez Fellick was first home in a superb 02:55, followed closely by Richard Webster in 02:58. Martin Connell achieved his target time and a personal best of 03:15. Bragging rights in the Holt household went to Sallie (03:27) as she edged Nick by 7 minutes. Jess Lovell returned a solid 03:32and Vick Kehoe dipped below 4 hours with 03:58. Rachel Saunders recovering from a cold came home in 04:12.
