Over 2100 runners finished the 2014 Marathon Du Mont Blanc. Steve Smith and Jess Lovell were amongst the competitors and finished in 05:09 and 05:41 respectively. The race involved over 2000m of climbing and starting in Chamonix took in the peaks of Argentiere, Col des Montets, Col des Possettes, Aiguilles des Possettes, Charlanon comb and Planpraz taking in some breathtaking panoramas of the Mont Blanc range.
