11 runners from Wallasey AC took to the streets of London for the Virgin Money London Marathon. Cool conditions aided the runners and Phil Walton lead the group home in a personal best time of 02:49:57, a great run. Not far behind him were John Thelwell (02:52) and Richard Webster (02:53). Tony Barbat also set a personal best of 02:56:43. Vicky Kehoe returned in 03:44 for a lifetime best.
