The Brathay Windermere Marathon was run entirely within a UNESCO World Heritage Site, it had been described as the friendliest and most beautiful UK marathon and took place in the grounds of Brathay Hall and afforded stunning views over England's largest lake. Steve Smith and Jess Lovell made the trip to compete and returned in 03:21and 04:03 respectiveley.
